Niels’ own home, a 1905 watchmaker’s store near Frama’s studio in Copenhagen, is a testament to this balance of design and function.

Since its inception, Frama has offered a unique approach to home design, creating a line of pieces that showcase an appreciation of natural and organic beauty while underlying it with the modern function and aesthetic of contemporary art. Even the company’s headquarters plays with this juxtaposition of the new and old with a showroom space housed in the historic St. Paul’s Apotek, which was established in 1878. But this play on age and timelessness is best found in their home collections.

Niels designs with the belief that “No projects are wrong projects,” understanding that it’s though failures and mistakes that we learn and grow the most. And one glance at their collection would inform you that there are indeed no wrong projects here.
