Located on the beautiful dreamy island of Crete, Greece surrounded by breathtaking nature we find this intimate and soulful seaside resort and spa resulting from a collaboration between the design offices German Lambs and Lions and Greek K-Studio.
This stunning haven, originally created for the popular hotel Chain Casa Cook known for their passion for hospitality, is defined by its iconic style of understated luxury, and is now owned by Domes Resorts.
Inspired by its surroundings, the holistic retreat is shrouded in warm, earthy tones contrasting beautifully with the blue sky and sea. The architecture and design are a perfect blend of modernism and a Mediterranean aesthetic with another beautiful mix of concrete and timber.
The resort is a blissful refuge where serenity, peace, nature, and hospitality are central. The Brutalist concrete structures are softened by the use of timber, rattan, and lush greenery. The rooms, consisting of villas and bungalows, are defined by simplicity, a natural look, and a homey feel.
Every space feels like your own little intimate cocoon. Using midcentury-inspired furniture, well-curated decoration, and a mix of stone, timber, and different textures, the designers managed to create a space with understated luxury and a cozy atmosphere.
