Over the past year, everything about how we work and live has changed. Travel plans and holidays have been canceled, kids are homeschooling, and people are now working from home. And to make the best out of an unexpected and challenging situation, most of us have started working to improve our spaces in an attempt to make our home offices as beautiful (and functional) as possible. Whether we share a workspace with family or friends or have the privacy of a home office, we all need a space to allow ourselves to think, create, and flourish in this new capacity. With this in mind, VISUAL PLEASURE has designed a new home gallery for the office in collaboration with a collective of amazing designers and brands.
In this new reality we're living in, our workspace should be a place that feels beautiful and uplifting, a reflection of not only our personal style but a place we can flourish in both a personal and professional capacity. To create this kind of space, VISUAL PLEASURE has designed a home office gallery, a dual space to be the source of creativity and inspiration. We have collaborated with designers, artists, and brands like Objekte Unserer Tage , TAKT, Tylko, Valerie_Objects, Pholc, Nordic Knots, Faust Linoleum, SOFACOMPANY, ARGUMENT, Aesthek, Bauwerk Colour and Cooee Design, who have outfitted the office in everything from the furniture to lighting. To bring dimension and artistry, Simone Polk Dahl, Edith Beurskens, Emeli Höcks, and Atelier CPH were all tapped for their sculptures, prints, and artworks.
The new space functions as a home office and a small home gallery. Here, VISUAL PLEASURE exhibits artworks and sculptures from artists that inspire us. We hope that this new project will showcase what a home office can be, how it can become not just a place to house your laptop, but a place where you want to be. The result is a beautiful workspace that captures the professionalism needed to be a functional office, with the abstract creativity of a home gallery.
